Photo media, installation, performance and video artist. Born in Adelaide, Australia lives and works in Sydney, Finland and Iceland.
I recently completed my MFA at CoFA/UNSW, under the supervision of Lynne Roberts-Goodwin, with my research and body of work consisting of lyrical mediations on landscape and memory. In particular my work embodied the physicality and peformative nature of the photographic act; limits and possibilities in relation to presence and memory, and the poetics of navigating a landscape in particular forests and seascapes.
More generally my work is grounded in ideas of mapping, labyrinths, oceanic charting, self made dictionaries, place marking, rituals, liminal spaces, dwellings and work and industry in cold climates.
